My journey in the world of business, especially in pitching, sales speeches, and marketing, has been shaped profoundly by my BG5 Career Design, particularly my open Communication & Action function. With all my trait activations, I’ve realized that my approach fundamentally differs from the traditional methods. These activations are designed to be called out, recognized, and invited rather than initiated without solicitation. This revelation, paired with my Builder decision-making strategy, which requires me to respond before engaging, has significantly impacted how I navigate the business landscape.

In the fast-paced world of sales and marketing, the typical advice is to be proactive, to initiate conversations, and to push for attention constantly. However, for me, this approach has always felt like swimming against the current. I remember countless times when I tried to forcefully pitch my ideas or initiate projects, only to face deaf ears, walls of resistance, and a profound sense of frustration. It took years of inner turmoil and repeated failures to realize that my design doesn’t work that way.

Instead, my strength lies in waiting to talk, in being present and available until the right moment comes when my input is genuinely sought. This waiting game isn’t about being passive; it’s about being in tune with the natural flow of interactions and opportunities. When I honor this aspect of my design, my contributions are welcomed and valued immensely.

One of the most significant realizations I’ve had is the power of empathetically listening to people. My openness allows me to truly understand what lies beneath the surface, to read between the lines, and to grasp the unspoken needs and desires of those I interact with. This ability has been instrumental in my leadership role and my life purpose, which is geared towards transforming the collective society by empowering individuals, teams, leaders, and businesses to embrace their unique strengths.

I call my business philosophy “Human in the Center” because I believe that the core of any successful venture is the human element. This principle drives me to help others overcome current business challenges by focusing back on the intrinsic value of each individual. There is a plethora of sales training programs that promise quick profits and standardized success formulas. I’ve tried many of these, only to find them painfully ineffective for me. The advice often boils down to “put in more effort,” but my experience has shown me that more effort in the wrong direction is futile.

I am unique, and these “copy & paste” strategies simply do not align with my design. I’ve been told countless times that I haven’t tried hard enough, but the reality is that my design doesn’t respond to forceful initiation. Instead, it thrives on genuine engagement and the natural progression of opportunities. I met nothing but resistance when I tried to initiate like an Initiator. It wasn’t until I embraced my true nature that I saw a shift.

What has worked for me is writing. I love pouring my thoughts, feelings, and experiences into words. Writing has become my way of building trust and expressing my truth. Every day, I find inspiration and triggers for new content, and I write as it comes to me. This flow resonates with my Abstract Circuitry; those who understand this know how vital it is to stay true to your design. The positive feedback from my writing reinforces that this is my path. It’s my way of building trust because it comes from deep within me—my truth, experiences, and learnings. This authenticity inspires others and resonates with them, helping them reflect on their own lives.

Addressing my design, my life work theme, or soul purpose gives me great satisfaction. As a Builder, this satisfaction is the key indicator that I am aligned with my true self, doing what I love and loving what I do. This doesn’t fit into standardized trainings, and that’s perfectly fine. What I want to convey is that each of you is unique. This inner calling leads you to the right path in life, both privately and professionally.

My magic lies in my ability to listen deeply—to individuals, leaders, teams, and businesses. I can truly hear and feel their challenges and leverage my mental design strengths to come up with unique solutions tailored to their specific contexts. This transformation isn’t about generic advice; it’s about pragmatic, step-by-step guidance that aligns with their unique design for a particular and unique situation.

Inspired by the BG5 Foundation Class discussion and the truthful content shared by the students, I dedicate this post to all the wonderful individuals finding their own paths using BG5 knowledge. Your journeys inspire me to continue on my mission to “Change the Corporate Life by Placing Human in the Center.” This is my approach to the future of business and beyond.

In conclusion, my experiences in the corporate world have taught me that authenticity and alignment with one’s design are paramount. While traditional sales and marketing techniques may work for some, they didn’t and do not work for me. Embracing my unique path has led to genuine connections, profound insights, and a fulfilling career.
